Welcome Note - the site is currently under construction

From the Professor

Dean Norman Tien On behalf of the Self-Assembled Molecular Optoelectronics Group in the Department of Physics at Case Western Reserve University, I would like to welcome you to our Web site. We are a small, dynamically growing group with research specialization in fundamental studies of nanoscale charge and energy transfer processes in self-assembling organic materials, nanostructures, and functional hybrid architectures. We focuse also on practical applications of the materials novel properties in such optoelectronic nanoscale device architectures as the self-assembled organic and hybrid nanostructured solar cells and all-organic nanoelectronic circuits. Headed by Prof. Volodimyr Duzhko, the group is a part of the Organic Optoelectronics Group and honored to contribute to a major collaboration between several research institutions with research interests in synthetic and supramolecular chemistry of organic materials, fundamental studies of their optical and electronic properties, as well as their application in novel photonic, electronic, and optoelectronic devices.

Please visit our website and learn about us.

Sincerely,
Volodimyr Duzhko
Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics
